The Toastmasters educational program is divided into two tracks – communication and leadership. As a members you will be encouraged to participate in both tracks. They are not mutually exclusive and you can work in both at the same time.
Toastmasters is a learn by doing educational program. You will hone your speaking and leadership skills in a professional but fun atmosphere. Meetings are highly structured, with members filling very specific roles and responsibilities. The video below discusses a typical meeting but the best way is to attend a meeting to see for yourself.
No, as a guest you will not be forced to speak at one of our meetings. We will ask you if you would like to participate in the “Table Topics” section of the meeting. This segment helps members and guests build extemporaneous speaking skills by volunteering to talk for 1-2 minutes about a given topic. We would love you to participate but if you would like to just observe that’s ok too.

Our members adhere to a business professional dress code. As a guest visiting our club all we ask is that you wear something. It is more important to us that you visit and see for yourself if membership is something you would find beneficial.
